Youth Fellowship

Today in Youth Fellowship we discussed on the Bible verse John 1:1 which states "In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God." We were split up into three groups, each group having one part of the verse. Group one having "In the beginning was The Word..." Group two having "And The Word was with God..." and Group three having "And The Word was God." All three groups had 10 minutes to make up a skit to perform to the class. After we did the skits, we went to go grab an item that we thought resembled our relationship with God and presented it to the class; some thought a hat, cellphone, Bible, or even a sweater resembled their relationship with God by keeping in touch with him, reading his word or simply him keeping us warm. This week God's message to us was that he is The Word and he is living The Word which is the Bible, and that he turned the The Word into flesh who is Jesus. We also learned that we need a strong relationship with God. Without God, would we be here today?
