Judge

As we Christians grow stronger in Christ, there are always a few Christians whose faith will not be as strong as ours. They might still do things that we have overcome. It is important not to look down upon or judge our fellow Christians. We should remember that we will always sin, making us no better than anyone else. Instead of judging our fellow Christians for their weak faith, it is an opportunity to help them. Instead of casting stones, we should be helping them, for we are not any better than any person.

The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.

But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.

At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there.

John 8:1-9

The teachers and Pharisees looked at the women and saw a sinner, an adulterer. They neglected to see their own sin, and realize that they are no better and shouldn't be judging the women. When Jesus saw the women, he did not see a sinner, he saw a women who needed help. Instead of judging the women, Jesus helped her leave her life of sin. So, when we our friends are doing wrong, we shouldn't think badly of them because there will be times when we do wrong as well.We should correct them and help them back to the narrow path and they will do the same for us when we do wrong.

If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.

Matthew 18:15
